Landing Page Optimization for multi-location businesses

If you have a business with many locations you will need to create a landing page for each of the locations.

Website Structure

Choice of URL

It is extremely beneficial to use keywords in URLs of your landing pages. You can use a primary category and city keywords for each location URL.

Example
If you are a web designer in Miami, FL and in Houston, TX you would have 2 landing pages: example.com/web-designer-miami-fl/ and example.com/web-designer-houston-tx/

You can optionally group your location pages with the parents page to keep the structure clean if you have many other pages and posts on the website (example.com/locations/web-designer-miami-fl/)

On-page Optimization

In general, keep the same optimization for each landing page as you would for a single location business (Read more: https://katerynaquinn.com/google-business-profile/landing-page/). Although, we will be changing Footer and adding more info to each landing page.
Add Embed Map, NAP, Hours, and Directions Button
The information that you would usually put in the footer should be now located at the top of your landing page:

So add your NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) exactly as you have it on your Google Business Listing. Also, add an email address, hours of operation, and Map embed that links to your Google Maps profile with Get Directions button.

PRO TIP

Make sure all of your H1-H6 Tags reflect the particular location you list on the specific landing page and contain keywords that include that location (City & State).

Footer links on all pages and posts

Instead of the footer we used for a single location business we want to interlink all of your location pages in your website Footer now. You can do that by adding links to each page and just using city and state as a keyword/anchor:
